How it works

Four steps, one song.

1. 01

   Create a song

   Title, your name and the email you want notifications sent to.

2. 02

   Add collaborators

   Name and email, then send an information request. No accounts needed.

3. 03

   They fill one form

   Legal name, IPI, PRO, publisher, admin — and permission to use it.

4. 04

   You get it back

   An email with the details, a Completed status, and a CSV export.

The form

Everything a registration asks for. Nothing it doesn't.

• Legal name

  The name that goes on the registration, not the artist name.

• Professional name

  Optional — how they're credited in the studio and on stage.

• IPI number

  With an explicit “Unknown / Not yet assigned” option, so nobody guesses.

• PRO affiliation

  BMI, ASCAP, PRS, SOCAN and more — plus “Not affiliated”.

• Publisher

  Including Self-published, No publisher and Unsure.

• Publisher IPI

  Collected when it exists, skipped cleanly when it doesn't.

• Publishing administrator

  Optional, and kept separate from the publisher.

• Permission to register

  A clear confirmation that their details may be used for this song.
